Part 5- Pie Chart
This is a pie chart in which I asked a group of people from all age range's to look at my final product and judge if they believe that I have reached my target audience. The result shows that 75% of people I asked said that they think it does appeal to 13-25 year olds, however 25% of people said that they did not think I had succeded. I then realised that my question was vauge and asked the people who said 'no' to provide me with a breif explination as to why. Susan Clark, 57, said that she thought the target audience was "too wide" and by the age of 25 people have became more individual and wouldnt respond as well to bright colours etc as they might have when they were younger. She then went on to explian that she thinks i have reached the younger part of my audience brilliantly but thinks adjustments should be made if i want a 25 year old to pick up my magazine. This feedback was good to me because it has allowed me to re-evaluate my magazine and change small things such as choice of language to ensure my target audience is reached perfectly. Because I only questioned 12 people, it means that 3 people disagreed which is too be expected as not everyone has the same interests and appeals. Lucy Bolden, 14, said that she loved the magazine and belived it appealed to people of her age range perfectly.
