Part 6- A Tutorial That I Watched

When I first began the production of my magazine, I had little to no experience on photo shop or other sites of the same nature. My initial plan was to learn through my peers but sadly they too had very little skills, my next thought was to teach myself how to use the basic tools I would need and then research any other smaller tasks I may need aid with. This video was very helpful because the voice was clear and it did not go too fast, allowing me to easily follow what was happening and take it all in. At some points I decided to pause the video and try and perform the skill for myself which helped because I was gaining valuable experience and gaining a deeper knowledge.

Before watching the video I had assumed that I was going to use a simpler site which would not have been as effective because all of the diff rent tools appeared very confusing and hard to use. One massive thing I gathered from the video was the names and functions of the tools which was good because when I knew what I wanted to do with an image I was aware of what tools I had at my aid. My confidence was raised massively once watching the tutorial because of the better understanding I had gained.
